The scent will punch you in the nose right out of the bottle with the bubbly carbonation and lemon lime top notes.  This is the bubbly "power" added to stand out.  Once that mellows out you will get the powder (which is very subtle).  As that blends away the Rich Amber, Musk and Sandalwood take over.

A medium, non-greasy & fast absorbing blend of:

  • Babassu Oil  -  Smooths Strands to add Softness/Shine, Reduce Frizz and make hair less prone to breakage.
  • Castor Oil  -  High in Vit. E, minerals, proteins and Fatty Acids. Increases circulation so hair roots grow stronger. Fills in gaps in keratin in the hair shaft.
  • Golden Jojoba Oil  -  Full of Vitamins and Minerals to protect and nourish skin.
  • Abyssinian Oil  -  Protects against environmental damage. Adds elasticity to the skin and hair creating a rich feel in beard.

great products

For most of my bearded life I have made my own products. But do to recent life changes my shelf space was greatly reduced. So I needed to find a company that would replace my mad hatter sized kit into a more manageable size for apartment living.

In comes 8 bit. The creative name and artwork got my attention. The fantastic product will keep me as a customer. My plan was to try 8 bit and move to another company until I found the one. But I'll be damned if I didn't find the one the first try. Not only does my gray mane feel soft and lovely. But it feels thicker than before. This stuff is 8 bit magic.

Mega Cut Man.....The Holy Grail of Barbershop Scents

Coming from the wet shaving world I have tried several Barbershop scented shave soaps & aftershaves, but THIS IS definitely one of, if not my favorite Barbershop scents of all time. It is definitely the best Barbershop scent in the beard world in my humble opinion.
The scent is very well blended, it's almost like 7up or Sprite on top of a powdery barbershop scent with talc, barbicide, and oak moss to round it out. I hope I or Shaun Never runs out of this.
The performance is wonderful, a top tier performer with the scent hanging around for hours.
My only regret is I don't have a cologne or mustache wax in this scent.
Definitely don't sleep on this one, it is amazing. Amazing work Shaun, 8-Bit is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
