The Story

As You Wish.  If you are a fan of the 80's and the movie The Princess Bride, then you know the title of our newest scent has a double meaning. I Love You/True Love.  This scent is a tribute to our youngest son, Westley, who passed away 4/21/21 at 3.5 years old.

Westley was the definition of the True Love that they speak of in the movie.  He had a smile that would melt your heart and the cares of the world around you. Often flirting with our nurses with his beautiful blue eyes, smile, spiky hair and dimples.  Even through the hardships Westley still provided Joy and Inspiration to those around him.

Through his memory we wanted to release a Limited Edition Scent as a fundraiser to help an organization that helped us so much over the 3.5 years we had Westley.  See Charity Fundraiser Tab for more detail.

The scent is as bright as Westley was. It opens up with a beautiful Fresh and Crisp Apple.  That apple flows directly into the heart of the scent, a Salty Sea Breeze. As if you were the dread pirate Roberts yourself, sailing across the seas.  That Open Air Scent remains and adds a Woody and Herbal base scent as you enter the Fire Swamp....no no...we kept the fire out of this one.  It is the perfect spring to summer scent.

The Legacy

Originally released in 2022, As You Wish Oil and Candle, was able to raise over $1400 in its first year.  In 2023 we saw it return with an added butter and wax melt. We did not release this in 2024 but this year, it’s back to honor our son and with a NEW PARFUM!!! This isn’t just a scent — it’s a commitment to his legacy and why our company was founded.

Charity Fundraiser

This used to be our main Charity Fundraiser yearly and we have raised over $3k for the DSACO organization through this product alone.

The combination of apple, water lotus rounded out with oak moss gives this oil a smooth aquatic feel without being right in your face. Definitely a goto in my book!

Like other 8-Bit products, the feel in beard is excellent. Scent wise, As You Wish is beautifully crafted with all of the notes blending very well. A fantastic scent, touching story, and proceeds going to a great cause, when As You Wish comes back in stock I highly recommend picking it up.

Cartridge Info (Ingredients)

Ingredients: Provides overall hair and skin health.

  • Babassu Oil  -  Smooths Stands to add Softness/Shine, Reduce Frizz and make hair less prone to breakage.
  • Castor Oil  -  High in Vit. E, minerals, proteins and Fatty Acids. Increases circulation so hair roots grow stronger. Fills in gaps in keratin in the hair shaft.
  • Golden Jojoba Oil  -  Full of Vitamins and Minerals to protect and nourish skin.
  • Abyssinian Oil  -  Protects against environmental damage. Adds elasticity to the skin and hair creating a rich feel in beard.
  • Hemp Seed Oil  - Anti-Inflammatory. Encourages skin growth and new cell regeneration.
  • Avocado Oil  -  The Mono-Unsaturated Fatty Acid deeply penetrates hair shaft to strengthen from the inside. One of only a few oils that contain MUFA.

For Best Results, Apply to a Damp Beard

Beard Oil

  1. Shake Well
  2. Use at least one tap on bottom of bottle per inch of beard
    • Think....less is more at first.  You can always add more if needed.
  3. Rub oil between palms
  4. Massage oil up into skin and beard making sure to spread evenly
  5. Style as Needed

If you are teaming it up with a Beard Butter please wait 5-10 minutes for the Beard Oil to absorb before layering the Butter or Balm for maxiumun softness.  Use daily to unlock your hair’s potential.
